Short Description

The leading international trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management presented itself as a magnet for the international geospatial community and for the diverse application areas of geodata-based solutions.

Description

INTERGEO Conference 2023

The topic area "Unmanned Systems" will be highlighted in its own format within INTERGEO, which is all about UAV technologies. Drones are the most widespread type of UAV and are used for a variety of applications, such as infrastructure inspection, event monitoring, and cargo delivery.

Together with the competence partners DVW e.V., DGPF (German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation e.V.), and UAV DACH, an extensive program was developed exclusively for 180 participants.

Topics such as "Legal basis for the planned revision of ยง 21k Luftverkehrs-Ordnung", UAV photogrammetric workflows for the evaluation of data, the use of UAS in environmental monitoring and in agricultural applications will be covered in detail in the two-day expert forum.

Nothing less than the future of geoinformation, geodesy, and land management is what we want to present to you at the Conference. The future is promising, as the importance of geoinformation has increased significantly in recent years and will continue to grow in the future. Especially in the fields of urban planning, disaster preparedness, environmental protection, and energy efficiency, geoinformation is of crucial importance. Global challenges such as the climate crisis, urbanization, and securing resources can only be mastered with the help of geospatial data.

The largest top meeting of the geocommunity is back! Look forward to three days of personal encounters and inspiring exchanges at the EXPO, at the CONFERENCE, the FLIGHT ZONE, and the STAGES.

Who is it for ?

Trade visitors and exhibitors at the expo typically include a mix of professionals, organizations, and companies from various sectors that have an interest in geospatial data, technology, and BIM solutions.

For Visitors

The Expo serves as a gathering point for a diverse audience deeply interested in geospatial data and technology.

Geospatial professionals, including geodesists, surveyors, and GIS analysts, participate to exchange knowledge and explore innovations.

Government agencies utilize geospatial information for urban planning, land management, and crisis response, while urban planners, architects, and environmental managers rely on GIS for city development, resource conservation, and impact assessment.

Transportation, logistics, utility, and energy sectors optimize operations using geospatial data, while emergency services and NGOs leverage GIS for disaster management and humanitarian aid.

Students and educators attend to explore educational and career prospects.

Exhibitors showcase cutting-edge geospatial tools and solutions, while consultants provide specialized expertise.

International attendees, such as government delegations and global organizations, seek diverse insights. In summary, Geodesy and GIS expos foster networking, knowledge sharing, and technological advancements across a wide range of sectors reliant on geospatial data and technology.

For Exhibitors

Exhibitors include drone technology providers showcasing the latest tools and solutions, and consultants offering geospatial expertise.

International attendees, including government delegations and international organizations, seek global insights, the last edition had around 14,000 trade visitors from 102 countries.

The complementing nature between GIS/BIM industry and drone industry, makes this a great opportunity for accelerating growth, driving innovation, and opening new business prospects.

In summary, the expo brings together a broad spectrum of professionals and organizations from various industries to share knowledge, discover advancements, and explore the applications of geospatial data and technology.
